How to find your magic number
Our most valuable tip is to not measure your feet in the morning as feet often swell during the day due to heat and activity. For the best fit, measure your feet at the end of the day.
To find your shoe size, you need to determine your heel to toe-cap length. First, place a piece of paper on the floor with one end against a wall. Then, stand on the paper with your heel against the wall. With a pencil, mark on the paper the point where your fingers end. Measure from the end of the piece of paper to the mark you made in pencil and compare the measurement with our size chart. If you are between two sizes, if may be safer to choose the larger rather than the smaller size.
Shipping & returns
We ship our shoes within Portugal via CTT and worldwide via DHL Express.
Standard shipping (Continental Portugal, Azores and Madeira) - 5€
Express shipping within Europe - 20€
Express shipping outside Europe – 40€
Most of our orders are shipped within 2 business days of purchase from our head office in Lisbon. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number and we estimate you will receive your order in 1-2 business days if you are located in Portugal, 1-2 business days if you live in the European Union and between 1-5 business days if you live outside of the European Union.
Shipping to countries outside the European Union may result in extra import duties and taxes. These are calculated based on the items you ordered, your shipment destination and the value of your purchase. The charges are determined by your local customs authority and payment is required to release your order from customs. These additional customs clearance charges must be paid by you, as we have no control over these charges.
Some international orders that are subjected to customs clearance procedures may have delays beyond the original delivery estimates.
At Ballūta we have a 14-day return policy: any unwanted items must be shipped within 14 days of delivery. For your comfort, you can use our return service and you will be refunded in the event of theft or loss during delivery to our warehouse. There is no restocking fee and return is free within Portugal. For international customers we offer easy returns!
If you want to return your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a return form and shipping label. You must place the return label on the box over the prior delivery label. Go to DHL webpage and click “DHL Express” on the bottom left of the screen. Then select your country to get the correct contact number and call your local DHL customer service to set up your package collection.
We will issue a refund when items are returned to us in perfect condition and accompanied by the return form. So please make sure all products are in the same condition as you received them and, to guarantee they do, you must try your Ballūta shoes on a carpeted surface until you decide you want to keep them.
Shoes should be returned in their original, undamaged box which is part of the product. You must also return the shoes and shoe box inside another solid carton box to make sure the original packaging is undamaged.
